CAN Volunteer Fair Bournemouth 26
Our group had a stand at this very busy fair today. Around 60 other organisations attended the event. We had lots of interest in our stand and collected details of a number of interested people who share our ambitions. There is a groundswell of people who are working hard in many different capacities as volunteers and workers, trying hard to build community and support the vulnerable. This fair exemplified that: it seems a shame that it is not considered newsworthy.

Our New Banner

We are delighted to have it in support of our future activities, but also any where we might be in support of like minded groups. We also have nice logo inspired business cards to hand out to contacts. Our New publicity Banner

Holocaust Memorial Day 2026
On 25th January we attended our local Holocaust Memorial Day commemoration held at The Lighthouse in Poole. We supported the local Jewish community and especially our good friend Lynda who very much helps organise this event each year as a member of the Jewish community but also as an active and long term member of our Interfaith group. The event this year was focussing on generational input, and many of the presentations and readings were from youth. The key note talk looked
