Here's to a Happy Naw Ruz to our Baha'i friends and Happy Eid to our Muslim friends too.

Naw Ruz means New Year in Persian and signals the end of the Baha'i fast. It is also the first day of spring or the Vernal Equinox or March 21st. This year it will also coincide with Eid Al Fitr, the end of the Muslim fast and just for good measure Lent for the Christians; all within days of each other. This is a very unusual occurrence, but as all of these religious obligations are designed to increase spirituality within the individual these troubled times can only benefit from such a series of events.
